Privacy policy
Short version: we collect what you type into the inquiry form, we store it on our own server so we can reply to you, and we do not sell or share it.

What we collect
When you submit the inquiry form we collect the information you enter: your name, company, email address, telephone number, country, and the details of your requirement. We also record the page you submitted from and the date and time.
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. These are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile you across other websites. The only cookie this site sets is a session cookie on our own administration area, which ordinary visitors never receive.
Why we collect it
To answer your inquiry, to quote for the goods you asked about, and to keep a record of our correspondence so that a later order can be matched to an earlier one. That is the whole purpose. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business inquiry you chose to send us.
Where it is stored
Inquiries are stored in a database on a server we control in Germany, operated on our behalf by our hosting provider. Access is limited to named people at Nandanvan Gems and protected by a password. We do not use a third-party CRM or marketing platform.
If you contact us on WhatsApp instead, that conversation is held on WhatsApp's infrastructure under their terms, not ours.
Who we share it with
Nobody, other than where we are legally required to disclose information, or where a shipping or laboratory partner needs your delivery details to complete an order you placed. We do not sell, rent, or trade inquiry data.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted after 24 months. Records relating to completed transactions are retained for five years, because trade and compliance rules require it. Server access logs are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If your inquiry did not lead to a transaction, deletion is unconditional — we will simply remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. We do not maintain a mailing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
